Joshua Avrom Gordon
Joshua Avrom Gordon completed his studies at Tunxis Community College in Farmington, CT, with a degree in Photography. Most recently he took part in the WUJS Tel Aviv Internship Program, working as an assistant to product photographer Keith Glassman.
Upon returning to the United States he’s been busy photographing: Bar Mitzvahs, special events, portraits, and commercial work.
Most recently his work has been on display at The Dehn Gallery in Manchester, CT. Previous showings include The Halechi Museum in Tel Aviv, Israel; Downtown Yoga in Hartford, CT; The Barnes-Franklin Gallery in Farmington CT; Art Space Hartford, Hartford, CT; and Hans Weiss Newspace Gallery in Manchester, CT (Jury Show). In 2012 he was a finalist in Photographic Forums Best Of College Photography.
In addition to his work in photography, he has dabbled in the film industry, working as a grip and electric on the Joe Young produced film, "Diamond Ruff” shot in Hartford, CT. His other work includes the film "An Inappropriate Affect", and the television shows "The Hartford Colonials Kick Off" for the CW, "Forensic Files" on True TV, and promo commercials for the PGA tour.
